This is a new vest – designed and handwoven by Mary Wickler Peterson. The fabric is woven in a plain weave pattern. The yarns that were chosen for this vest are primarily bamboo with ribbons of bright blue silk and vibrant purple for the warp. A shimmering rayon/cotton blend makes for the weft. The completed vest has a very soft and feminine feel. You will love the back which has a sassy fringe on the yoke. The front has a collar and the sides are slightly open on the bottom sides for ease in movement.  This vest is a size medium. A lovely vest for any occasion.
